If you can walk, you can dance.. is this true?

My girlfriend who’s puerto rican used to tell me this in counter to my assertion that I can’t dance. She would do her best to show me steps from this school where she’s taking dance classes at. You can check the school out at salsa classes nyc. I would get some of the things she would show me, while other moves would be incredibly difficult for me. Anyway, she purchased a private lesson for me on my birthday and reluctantly I went with her. To my surprise at the end of the lesson I was dancing. I was doing salsa turns and leads with no problem. It’s an understatement to say that instructor we had was extremely good at breaking down the moves. After the lesson, my girlfriend caught me smiling. She said “see, I told you! If you can walk, you can dance!”.
